Cruel Fate!
So I joined Weight Watchers last night, but let me tell you it isn't as easy as it sounds (the joining).
We went last Thursday, but the meeting venue we chose no longer has meetings and we were too late to find another one. We took it as a sign from God that my buddy was allowed to enjoy wedding cake that weekend. We resolved to try again this week.
Whose *#&@ idea was it to put a Weight Watchers between a bar and a BAKERY?!!!! That is just cosmically unfair. Not only do we have to be on our toes and follow the program, but now no matter which way we approach the meeting we have to run a calorie gauntlet! Not funny.
And to round it out, there's a shoe store 2 store fronts down. Oh yeah, just addictions-r-us going on in this shopping center. I'm waiting for Capt'n Crack Head's to open up where the video store is. It would round things out nicely.
