Things that make you go "Hey!"
I had physical therapy last night, my first session. We are pretty confident that I will be walking without a laugh track soon. This makes me very happy as I am tired of being daunted by curbs, and don't get me started on stairs!
I learned a few things:
1) The extensor muscles in my right upper leg are REALLY weak.
2) I can't stand on the ball of my right foot, which helps explain the "spaghetti ankle" issues I've been having. Putting on my shoe is like getting a dress on a cat!
3) There is an after-market for used balloons, it's called Theribands.
So I now have exercises to do every night, and I go for PT twice a week. Life is getting busy.
